Online Fiction Writing Courses — The Creative Writer's Workshop Online:

Founded in 1991 by Irene Graham, The Creative Writer's Workshop is offered as an interactive, LIVE, online writing workshop (in real time, not computer time) with Irene Graham. The workshops are based upon right-brain/left-brain learning techniques and exercises using creative writing as the medium.

Throughout The Creative Writer's Workshop the participants focus upon the dynamics and depths of story creation and the exploration of creativity and imagination – both individually and collectively, through the medium of writing. As well as learning to write creatively the workshop helps the participant in various ways to access life experiences and how to imaginatively translate those experiences into words for potential story development.

The Creative Writer’s Workshop shows the participant simple techniques in how to commit their ideas to paper as they focus upon the elements of story creation and write creative fiction.

Drawing upon right-brain/left-brain learning techniques and exercises the participant explores creative ways to stimulate and discover the writer within. The series of linked exercises evoke and develop the imagination while enhancing the writer’s unique writing voice. As well as engaging in simple and fun right-brain/left-brain exercises to strengthen the individual thinking process, the participant gains a deeper understanding in how to source their creativity and imagination through cognitive thinking skills.
